Crucial to strengthen Astana-Tashkent coop: Kazakh Ambassador, Tashkent

Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan Zautbek Turisbekov had a meeting yesterday with hokim (governor) of Tashkent Abdukahhar Tukhtayev, Kazinform cites Kazakh Embassy’s press service. The sides discussed issues of further interaction and emphasized necessity of strengthening bilateral ties of both capitals. The most important projects of coop for the oncoming years were touched upon as well. In particular, the sides discussed construction of a new group of buildings of the Kazakh Embassy in Uzbekistan, reconstruction and restoration of the “Shayhantohur – Tole Bi” historical and cultural complex that was included into the list of the world heritage of the UNESCO on the threshold of the 2200th anniversary of Tashkent in May 2009.
