Turkmenistan's new embassy building to be built in Tashkent

Uzbekistan Visa Info - The Turkmennebitgasgurlushyk state concern is to sign a contract worth Euro 8 million with Turkish Erku company for the design and construction of a Turkmenistan embassy building in Tashkent at the expense of the Turkmengas state concern. The construction should start this month and be completed in February 2009, Turkmenistan.ru reported. Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree to this effect "with a view to further expanding economic, political and cultural relations between the two states as well as improving working conditions of the embassy staff in Uzbekistan," the Turkmenistan.ru correspondent reports from Ashgabat quoting the press service of the Turkmen president.
